How we started

In 2011, I became a new grandmother for the first time. Since then my children have graced me with three beautiful grandsons who call me “Mimi”. In the whirlwind of my growing family and throwing a baby shower at my home, I wanted to create an original baby gift better than the usual gift bag or basket filled with baby essentials.

The outcome was a “Diaper Baby”. A newborn baby outfit stuffed with 25 intricately rolled disposable diapers to form a sleeping baby, content with a pacifier and warm hat, snuggled on a blanket. The gift was finished with a small toy. A 100 % usable baby gift!

Diaper Creations by Lisa-NH started when family and friends began asking if I could create a baby for their “someone special”. Shortly thereafter, I began attending craft shows and artisan fairs to share my new hobby with the public.

I would love to take on the challenge of creating a beautiful gift to match the theme of a baby shower or a baby's nursery for your “someone special”. Every baby is made with love and with the intent to make each new mother-to-be smile with its originality. No two babies I have made are exactly the alike. Each blanket, outfit, pacifier, hat and toy is handpicked, making every baby original.
